Aevidum is a student led mental health awareness and suicide prevention club. Students work on creating a more positive environment in the school building by promoting the acceptance, appreciation, acknowledgement, and care of other people. All students are welcome to join Aevidum. The club strives to create a healthy school environment and promote acceptance and appreciation of ALL students. Members seek to cultivate a positive mental health community and eliminate the stigma of mental health issues. Anyone is welcome to join the club! |

| Anime | Ms. Jackson | The Anime Club is for students to collectively watch Japanese animation (dubbed and subbed). Anime aficionados are often referred to as otaku and tend to be your more introverted students, thus the club will provide a community of fellow otaku. | Day 6 ONLY | Room 413 |
| Beautiful People Club | Ms. Jackson | The Beautiful People (GSA—Gay/Straight Alliance) is a student-led club that welcomes students of all sexual and/or gender orientations. The purpose of the club to provide a safe place and fellowship for LGBTQIA+ and Straight students. One book club meeting each month is dedicated to SSR, and during the remaining meetings, we talk about what we are reading. | CADD Club (Computer-Aided Drafting & Design) | Mr. Blasetti | Computer-Aided-Drafting & Design club provides an opportunity to explore, learn, and play around with 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks, OnShape, and Meshmixer to create digital part models. Open to anyone interested in product / part design, mechanical engineering, and/or 3D printing. No experience required to sign up. Students at any skill or knowledge level of chess will have the opportunity to learn the basics of chess and play chess face-to-face with other students, both over the board and online. Students with interest will be able to discuss, practice, and execute openings, middlegame and end game strategies, and refine those skills against peers, computers, and through puzzles. The CYHS Chess Club offers an environment in which any one with an interest in chess can learn, practice, play, and improve. |

Current missions are collecting non-recyclable plastic caps and transforming them into products like tables and benches. | iRacing Club | Mr. Savard | iRacing is technically a game, but it's also engineering and track modeling, its kinematics are second to none, and real-world racing drivers often use the software for training. Club members will sim race, learning about the “Science” of race car driving, including how to set up a car for the best speed on any given track and weather conditions, how to drive a car on a race track using the best path, and which cars are the best for certain races. | iTeam Club | Mrs. Bieber | The CYHS iTeam is a group of Central York students interested in technology and helping people. All students are welcome and no prior technology knowledge is required. The organization provides a way for students to learn more about the technology used at Central York School district than is provided during classes. We have a Schoology course and provide in person training. The club also serves as a way to provide assistance to teachers and other students. Students in the group will learn from the technology support specialists and from each other. Everyone learns help desk tech support basics, then they may expand to working with makerspace and programming. Our two annual events are the Hour of Code week, including the Family and Community evening event, and our Hackathon, and members are able to attend the LIU 12 Student Help Desk Forum to expand their knowledge and connect with students from other local schools.
