About Central York High School

Dear Panther Families,

Welcome to the 2026 - 2027 school year at Central York High School! We are excited to begin another year of learning, growth, and achievement with our students and families.

At Central York, we are committed to providing a high-quality academic experience in a supportive and collaborative environment. We strive to foster a culture of kindness, encourage personal growth, and help every student discover and pursue their passions.

We are proud of the accomplishments of our students and staff. Central York High School’s Future Ready Index score places us among the top 11% of all schools in Pennsylvania, reflecting the dedication of our students, staff, families, and community.

We are also excited to expand opportunities for students through our new Diversified Occupations program and Career Technical Education programs in Business and Family & Consumer Science. These programs provide students with opportunities to explore career interests, develop real-world skills, and prepare for success beyond high school.

We are proud of the many opportunities available to our Panthers, both inside and outside the classroom. From challenging academic courses to athletics, performing arts, JROTC, clubs, and student leadership, there is a place for every student to connect, grow, and succeed.

As we begin this school year, we will continue to focus on teaching and learning, student-centered decisions, and a culture of kindness. Together, we can ensure that every Panther feels valued, supported, and empowered to succeed.
