High School Students in Mrs. Hersey’s German Classes took part in “Schnitzelfest” this month!

The group took a break from their traditional classroom and turned their focus to cooking Schnitzel.

Schnitzel is a common German cooking tradition that involves a thin slice of meat, traditionally pork or veal, that is breaded and fried. The food is then topped with salt and or lemon.

Schnitzelfest is held for each German class every semester as they work through language learning and culture lessons about the country. Several other District team members were invited and made their way for a taste!

Various levels of the world language class are offered at the high school.
