MR. MATTHEW MCGEE

Mr. Matthew McGee works with students whose last names begin with the letters A through Co.

Mr. McGee began working at Central York High School in November 1994. Prior to coming to Central, Mr. McGee worked for the School District of Philadelphia. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Education in Counseling Psychology from Temple University. Mrs. Charlotte Utter

Mrs. Charlotte Utter is counselor for students whose last names begin with the letters Cr thru G. 

Mrs. Utter began in Central York School District in August 2004, after serving six years as a school counselor in Baltimore County Public Schools and three years at West York Area Middle School. Mrs. Utter earned her Bachelor of Arts from Western Maryland College (currently McDaniel College) and a Master of Education in school counseling from Auburn University. In addition to her counseling responsibilities, Mrs. Utter coordinates the Peer Tutoring program and serves as liaison to York County School of Technology for students who wish to attend YCST full time.  Mrs. Utter can be contacted at cutter@cysd.k12.pa.us or 717.846.6789 extension 1330.


Dr. Suzanne Schlager

Dr. Suzanne Schlager is counselor for students whose last names begin with the letters H through Le.

Dr. Schlager began working for Central York School District in August 1998. Prior to joining the District as a High School counselor, Dr. Schlager worked in higher education administration.

She earned her B.A. degree from Franklin & Marshall College, her M.Ed in School Counseling from Loyola College in Maryland and her Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from Immaculata University. Mr. Eric Shellenberger

Mr. Eric Shellenberger is counselor for students whose last names begin with the letters Li through Pa.

Mr. Shellenberger began working for Central York School District in 1995. Mr. Shellenberger received his teaching certification and Bachelor's Degree from York College and his Master's Degree in School and Guidance Counseling from Western Maryland College (currently McDaniel College).

Mrs. Wendolyn Hewitt

Mrs. Wendolyn Hewitt is counselor for students whose last names begin with the letters Pe through Sm.

Mrs. Hewitt began her career with Central York in January 2004, after serving as a high school counselor at Susquehannock High School for 15 1/2 years. She earned a B.S. in Education at Indiana University of Pennsylvania and an M.A, at Towson State University. In addition to her counseling responsibilities she also serves as SAT Supervisor. Mrs. Julie Foery

Mrs. Julie Foery is counselor for students whose last names begin with the letters Sn through Z.

Mrs. Foery began with Central School District in August 2004. She previously served as a School Counselor for 14 years. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Master's of Education from Indiana University of PA. Mrs. Connie Sohnleitner

Mrs. Connie Sohnleitner is a career counselor for the district who works with all students to help them develop and experience career opportunities throughout their school years. She began with Central York High School in 2005 with 25 years of business experience, and four years experience as a high school counselor and school to career counselor at a local technical high school. Mrs. Sohnleitner holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from York College and a Master's Degree in School and Guidance Counseling from Western Maryland (McDaniel College). Mrs. Sohnleitner serves on the Diversity team for the district and serves as Treasurer for the Foster Grandparent Program of York County.
