Job Shadowing Program
Job shadowing is an opportunity for students in grades 9 thru 12 to see what goes on first-hand in the workplace. Students spend a half to whole day visiting a workplace host at his/her jobsite. Students can explore a variety of careers and learn all the aspects of a business. Job shadowing can be the beginning of a sequence of career experiences that may include career exploration, internships , flex classes and/or apprenticeship. At the job site students have the opportunity to observe the valuable skills necessary in the real world of work. This is a non-paid program and no academic credit is awarded for job shadowing. Job shadowing is designed to be a learning experience for our students and may not provide any workplace advantage to an employer.
