Graduation Exit Project Course Description

Graduation Exit Project is a nine week required course that, after research and writing, culminates in a presentation to an authentic audience.

Graduation Exit Project Weekly Notes

May 11-15, 2015 

This week the class will be focusing on the Portfolio. 
Upon completion of this unit of study, the student 
should be able to answer the following essential questions: 

1. How can a student document/highlight academic achievements and analyze career exploration throughout the high school experience?



Assignments for Graduation Exit Project

Students will be completing a variety of in class assignments to reinforce the lesson material. 

I am available for assistance on the following days and times: 

Days 1 through 6 at 7:30 AM (see me in TWA 660) 
Flex Office hours.

Community Service Course Description

The Community Service class meets period 1on days 1, 3, and 5. Classroom activities include presentations from nonprofit agencies, character education, and the development of a personal mission statement.

Students receive 
0.2 credits for class participation activities and 0.3 credits for 20 hours of verified community service. 

The choice of volunteer service is up to the individual student but must be approved by the instructor. In addition, at least 14 service hours must be completed with one or more of the nonprofit agencies that make presentations to the class.
