Seniors must indicate in their Parchment Account which college/university they plan to attend, in order for their final transcripts to be sent after graduation. It is your responsibility, and not that of the CYHS Guidance Office, to make sure that your final transcript has been received by the college/university that you plan to attend.  If your school's orientation program is in early June, there is a good chance that your final transcript will not be available before you attend the program and/or register for classes.  We recommend that you contact your college/university to address this issue before you attend the orientation program.

If you have taken Dual Enrollment or College in the High School classesyou must contact the college/university you attended in order to have your final grades sent to the school you plan to attend.  The CYHS Guidance Office will not do this for you.

PROM 2020

Central York School District will POSTPONE the Central York High School PROM (originally scheduled for May 16) due to the impact of COVID-19 and the current stay-at-home orders issues by the state of Pennsylvania.

The District plans to hold this event for our graduating seniors at a date and time TBD when we are able to host events safely for our seniors and families.

We continue to monitor the situation, the state guidance and the possible scenarios available to us to honor our seniors with traditions that they have anticipated throughout their Central experience. We appreciate the continued support, sharing of ideas and ongoing dialogue with our families, students and community members about these events.

Please take the time to fill out this brief survey regarding plans for your postponed Prom:

Prom Survey - Class of 2020

Unfortunately, due to the current pandemic, this year's CYHS Post-Prom festivities have been cancelled.

Any student who is intends to enlist in the military following graduation, or who has received an ROTC scholarship, should see Mrs. Hinchcliff in the Main Office, beginning on March 15th.  We will need some information from you in regard to ordering a military cord to wear at graduation.

Please come prepared with the name of your recruiter, and a way to contact that person.
