The Interact Club's Glow Run scheduled for tomorrow, May 5 has been POSTPONED until the fall due to the weather forecast.


If you are interested in applying to be the student school board representative for the (upcoming) Junior Class, please complete the following application.  Your application will be reviewed, and you will be interviewed by Mr. Caufman.

Committment for this position will require you to be at every regular meeting of the CYSD School Board - which is typically the third month of every month (subject to change).  This position serves for the students' junior and senior year.

Strengthening families program

The Teen years can be challenging for all families…SFP 10-14 can help parents and teens tackle the challenges together!  SFP is a FREE seven week program that meets one night each week for parents and students, ages 10-14 years old at Hayshire Elementary School.  A flyer with more detailed information can be found here.

Each session begins with a free family meal - Dinner at 6:00 pm, and free childcare is provided for younger siblings.

Spring Session:  Thursday Evenings from 5:30 – 8:00 pm beginning March 16, 2017
March 16, 23, 30, April 6, 13, 20 & 27, 2017

Governor Wolf recently signed legislation adjusting the PA graduation requirements.

You can learn more about the changes here, in a letter from Mr. Grove and Mr. Caufman.  Also, a chart has been prepared with the CYSD current graduation requirements.  You can find that chart at this link.

The graduation date for the class of 2017 has been set!   

Commencement for the Class of 2017 will be on Friday, May 26, 2017.  The ceremony will begin promptly at 6:45 PM at Central York High School.

parents of seniors:  the pto needs your help!

The PTO sponsored post prom event will be held on May 21st at the high school from 12-5 immediately following the prom.   This event provides a safe fun filled evening of food, entertainment, and prizes for our seniors and their guests. 

Many volunteers and donations are required to make this a successful event.  Please click on the links below to learn more info and ways to donate.  Time to sign up pages can also be accessed by going to the PTO website.  Thanks for your consideration in helping with this event.

Pickup is located in the High School athletic wing, just before the Natatorium entrance.

The Pantry will be open on the following dates:
