Parchment accounts for transcripts

Attention All Juniors and Seniors!
NOW is the time to set up your parchment account!

CYHS has partnered with Parchment to send all transcripts electronically.  Your transcripts are typically required by colleges, military recruiters, employers and many others.  More information can be found at this link, or by contacting the guidance office.

Governor Wolf recently signed legislation adjusting the PA graduation requirements.

You can learn more about the changes here, in a letter from Mr. Grove and Mr. Caufman.  Also, a chart has been prepared with the CYSD current graduation requirements.  You can find that chart at this link.

Dual Enrollment Information - fall 2017 

  1. Penn State York:  Students can verify their registration by accessing their Lions Path account using the IDs and passwords received at their registration appointments.  A link to  Lions Path may be found on the Penn State York website.  Students received a copy of their schedules at the August 8 Orientation.  Classes begin August 21. Students may call Shelly Drabik at (717) 771-4040 for more information. 

  2. HACC- York: Students can verify their registration by accessing their MyHACC account. Students received log-in information for these accounts during registration. They can also access their invoices, which will show their registration information.  Classes start August 28 or September 11 (depending on the class.)  Students may contact Stepheni Reams at (717) 801-3727 for additional information.

  3. York College of PA: Evening classes begin August 28, day classes start August 29.  Students received copies of their schedules during registration. Classes start August 29, Students may also log in to their MYYCP accounts using the log-in information they received at registration. Click on: "View Bill" to view registration information. Students may also call the registrar's office at (717) 815-1273 for verbal confirmation or Sharron Mulligan, (717) 815-1219, for additional information. 



Homecoming 2017 Information

Our homecoming festivities will take place during the week of October 9, 2017 - Please come out and join the fun!

- Homecoming Parade:  Thursday, October 12
   beginning at 5:45 pm in the CYHS parking lot

- Homecoming Football Game:  Friday, October 13
   Game begins at 7 pm - Gates open at 5:30 pm
   Homecoming Court presented before the game

- Homecoming Dance:  Saturday, October 14
   from 7:00-10:30 pm in the CYHS Cafeteria

All events will take place at Central York High School.

CYHS E-News Archives

A copy of the E-News will be delivered each month through the Skyward System.  A copy will be sent to each student and each parent/guardian who receives updates through the Skyward System.  If you need to register for Skyward, please contact the administration building at (717) 846-6789 x1212.



Please note that the Panther Pantry will operate from 5-6 PM.
Pickup is located in the High School athletic wing, just before the Natatorium entrance.

The Pantry will be open on the following dates:

All schools are asked to donate nutritious food, cleaning supplies, laundry detergent and paper products.
